Philipp Poisel, originally from Ludwigsburg, Germany, is in his home country’s Top 10 with alternative rock song “Erkläre mir die Liebe”. Yes, he wants someone to explain love to him. Going for a night drive in a purple atmosphere, he attempts to figure things out. The music video and track are quite superb. Hopefully, we can expect a new album from the platinum recording artist in the near future.
Max Giesinger finished 4th in the first season of The Voice Germany. His new song “80 Millionen” has entered the Billboard German charts at #2 right behind David Guetta’s UEFA theme song which is impressive. Max hails from the German city of Karlsruhe, population about 300,000 and close to the border with France. He is now based in Hamburg. The new song is off his album Der Junge, der rennt released in April 2016. We have embedded the MV below.
Stereoact is a fresh production duo from the German state of Saxony. The pair teams up with Berlin singer Kerstin Ott to deliver “Die immer lacht” which recently reached #2 on the official German charts. Germany was the world’s 4th largest music market in 2015 behind The United States, Japan, and The United Kingdom. The #2 placement and 28.5 million views of its music video is not a bad start for Germany’s Stereoact. Have a look below.
